On September 11, 2001, Tom Burnett Jr.’s heroic actions inspired our nation shaken by the
horrific terrorist attacks.  The actions of Tom and the other passengers of Flight 93 saved
thousands of lives and protected our American freedom.

One of the most fitting ways to honor
Tom Burnett Jr. and the others who sacrificed their lives
on September 11 is to recognize those who serve our community every day.  The Tom Burnett
Jr. Hometown Heroes Celebration will honor these community champions.

In addition, the event will raise funds to support the
important mission of the Bloomington
Crime Prevention Association in its efforts to reduce crime and promote positive community
engagement through education and volunteerism.

The Tom Burnett Jr. Hometown Heroes Celebration will serve to:

The 2011 Tom Burnett Jr. Hometown Heroes Awards
Remember

champion.
